Under the direction and guidance of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® North Atlantic Regional Director, Elicia Pegues Spearman, Esq., The V.I.P. Pearls of Orange County, New York will be chartered as the F.I.R.S.T. Administration’s first interest group to graduate chapter chartering.
Within one year, these 27 professional women made AKA history as the first interest group to capitalize an endowment fund in their name to assist with higher educational aspirations for high school seniors residing in Orange County, NY. Their goal is to address community needs and sustainability for greater impact in the Orange County, NY area within the Mid-Hudson region. Additionally, they are proud members of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.

Ritual Attire

Only Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® members may attend the sorority ceremony. Proof of active membership (i.e. your financial card) and registration ticket must be presented prior to entry.
Sorority ceremony tickets are for members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® ONLY and will only provide access to the ceremony and not the luncheon. Doors will open at 10:30 AM.
Local and authorized AKA vendors will be on site and open in the Courtyard (just outside of the Main Falls Venue room) from 11:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Attendees are free to shop and network.

The luncheon is open to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® members and to the general public. Doors will open to all guests at 1:00 p.m.

How long will the early-bird tickets last?

Early-bird tickets are on a first come first serve basis. Once all tickets are purchased and/or the deadline is reached, the site will indicate that tickets are sold out.

What time should I arrive?

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® should arrive no later than 10:30 AM for our sorority ceremony. Only financial members can attend. Proof of active membership must be presented prior to entry, along with ceremony ticket; digital and/or printed will be accepted.

All other attendees can start arriving by 1:00 PM, doors for the luncheon will open around that time.

I bought a ticket and now I can no longer attend?

Unfortunately, all ticket sales are final and we do not issue refunds, transfers or credits. If you can find someone to use your ticket(s), please email vippearlschartering@gmail.com your guest's name and your confirmation number and we can alter your reservation.

What happens if I run late? Will I lose my seat(s)?

Your seat(s) will be held for you until the end of the luncheon. We will never give your seat(s) away however, be advised we cannot guarantee hot food nor dessert if your arrival time is after food has been served and plates have been cleared from tables.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® are required to wear ritual attire for the sorority ceremony. Members of the public are asked to dress in business or cocktail attire.

Will I have an opportunity to shop?

Yes. Local and authorized AKA vendors will be on site and open between 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM
